ABOUT THE OWNER

Kristen Bach spent her earlier years getting to know the Midwest until moving South to Athens, Georgia where she has worked for R. Wood Studio and www.beautyeveryday.com.

Following the birth of her daughter, Maypop, Kristen was inspired to open TREEHOUSE.kid&craft. She enjoys creating and curating a shop that inspires and promotes creativity and imagination. Kristen lives in a sweet little handmade home with her husband Josh, daughter, and their two dogs, Penelope and Willa. They chronicle their adventures at www.projectwe.tumblr.com.

DIY

DIY means “do it yourself” and refers to an Arts & Crafts movement that incorporates creative problem-solving, learning, and self-reliance as a way to get things done. The DIY ethic promotes the idea that ordinary people can learn to do more than they ever thought possible. Read more HERE.
