Food In Art Camp :: 4-6 yrs :: June 5-9
JUNE 5-9 // 10A - 1P // 4-6YRS // $160
For hundreds of years, food has had it’s presence in art. We are going to take a trip through Art History and learn about artists who were inspired by food. We will learn about old Dutch still lives, Wayne Theibold’s cakes, and Claes Oldenburg’s giant fruit sculptures! We will make a few of our own delicious dishes too. A fun camp for those kiddos that love food and art!
We will choose one piece of artwork to display in an August art exhibition at the Grit and/or at TREEHOUSE!
Instructor: Rae Kretzer
Rae was born, raised, and educated in Athens. She adores all forms of art and art history, but in her own practice, she loves drawing, illustration, and mushing together droopy clay sculptures. Other than the visual arts, her passions include mastering her curry recipes and going on long walks.
