Kristen Bach opened TREEHOUSE in 2010 with a vision to create a place where people in the Athens community and beyond would feel welcome and be inspired to make, create and live happy. TREEHOUSE has become just that place- thanks for supporting it!!
Kristen Bach grew up in Wisconsin and attended school for Drawing and Painting and Art Education. Close to a decade ago she moved South to Athens, Georgia where she has worked (and still works) for R.Wood Studio Ceramics and www.beautyeveryday.com.
Following the birth of her daughter Maypop, AKA "Shop Baby" Kristen was inspired to open TREEHOUSE.kid&craft. She enjoys creating and curating a shop that inspires and promotes creativity and imagination. Kristen lives with her husband Josh, daughter, and their two dogs, Penelope and Willa. They chronicle their adventures at www.projectwe.tumblr.com.
Kristen also takes lifestyle photographs for some of her favorite children's lines; Blabla Kids, Green Tones, and Luvaboo.
