About Us

We are a kid’s shop and creative space located in Athens and Decatur, Georgia. We offer a range of well-designed and responsibly made products for babies, kids, families, and crafters of all ages. Here you will find books, toys, clothing, designer diaper bags, decor, heirloom gifts, artwork, craft materials and kits, and many locally made items. In addition to our shop we offer classroom space where we teach a variety of creative classes, workshops, and summer camps including sewing, knitting, printmaking, zine and drawing, flower arranging, craft business for kids, stop motion animation, collage, puppetmaking, superheroes, fairies & much more! Kristen Bach opened TREEHOUSE in 2010 with a vision to create a place where people in the Athens community and beyond would feel welcome and be inspired to make, create and live happy. Following the birth of her daughter Maypop, AKA "Shop Baby" Kristen was inspired to open TREEHOUSE.kid&craft. She enjoys creating and curating a shop that inspires and promotes creativity and imagination. Kristen lives with her husband Josh, daughter, and their two dogs, Penelope and Willa. They chronicle their adventures at
