CRAFT INC. Kid Business | SESSION III

While this is intended to be an ongoing class, if you are interested in trying out the class for a day, are visiting from out of town, or want to pay week by week we have opened up for drop ins!  Please note that the drop in rate is slightly higher that the session based classes and may effect the end of year art show participation.  

The original Craft Business Class was named by the students in 2010 and remains a favorite to this day. Perfect for crafty entrepreneurs, the session starts with art to spark creativity, followed by logo making, business name development, pricing/financials, product creation, packaging, presentation, plus publicizing with press releases and social media posts. As a culminating event, students will have the chance to showcase their businesses at the TREEHOUSE Handmade Holiday Market.  This class builds the confidence and capabilities to last a lifetime! It's the perfect way to give kids the skills they need.

Please be aware that your kiddo will have the option to sell their goodies in our handmade craft fair and monetize the process - entirely optional, of course!

We have materials aplenty, but if yer kiddo plans to use stuff outside of our studio, you may need to take the reins.

Instructor::  Emma Scott::   Emma is one of those lucky kiddos that grew up at TREEHOUSE.  They are now an interdisciplinary Art superstar at the University of Georgia and is taking the Art School by storm.  Her humor and inspired teaching is loved by anyone who takes her classes.  She's a gem!

2023-2024 TREEHOUSE CLASS CALENDAR

SESSION I ::  September 18 - December 15 (No class Halloween or Thanksgiving week)

SESSION II ::  9 weeks Jan 15- March 15

SESSION III::  8 weeks March 18-May 17 (no class spring break April 1-5)

~If you are joining mid-session, sign up and we will refund you for your missed classes

~After the session starts we can allow drop-in registrations.  If it’s not on the website, email hello@treehousekidandcraft and let us know what date(s) you would like to join us!  

Multi Class Discount:   When enrolling in two or more classes or multiple children, the first class is full price and the subsequent classes receive a 10% discount, yay! 

Cancellation Policy:  If you register for a session and can't attend, please inform us 72 hours prior; we'll refund you, less a $50 security deposit. Regrettably, if we're not notified, no refund can be issued. Our staff and instructors carefully prepare for each spot in our classes. Funds from no-shows will be allocated to the many scholarships and donations we give throughout the year.

Make-ups may be made on Saturdays within the same session, unless otherwise approved.
