DESIGN LAB | 10-15 years

Join us for a session that introduces you to all of the various aspects of design.  We will explore digital drawing design, character design and comics, interior design, graphic design, industrial design, and more!

All students must have an ipad and digital drawing tool and be equipped with the procreate program (a 13.99 lifetime fee)

While this class may not be entirely digital, we will oftentimes use this as a tool to create and educate students on how to use this digital program within different avenues of creating art.  This class will introduce various career opportunities and explore them through creating.  

Class project examples may include designing logos, wallpaper, products, room designs, furniture design, perspective drawing, comic books and zines, and more.

Each student will need an ipad with the program Procreate (it’s a $13.99 lifetime membership) to use throughout the session

Instructor: Tomo

Tomo is an illustrator and graphic designer with a degree in Graphic design and communications, and over a decade of professional experience doing everything from commissioned character design to furniture magazine layouts. From children's books to action/adventure stories, monsters to nature, she's drawn it all, but her favorite illustrations are romantic! ~If you are joining mid-session, sign up and we will prorate you for your missed classes

Cancellation Policy:  If you register for a session and can't attend, please inform us 72 hours prior; we'll refund you, less a $20 security deposit. Regrettably, if we're not notified, no refund can be issued. Our staff and instructors carefully prepare for each spot in our classes. Funds from no-shows will be allocated to the many scholarships and donations we give throughout the year.

Make-up classes  may be made on Saturdays within the same session, unless otherwise approved.  Sign up for make ups on our class calendar and select "class makeup"

All classes are organized, supervised, and equipped to allow dropping-off of students, unless otherwise noted.  Our liability must be signed prior to class and can be found here.
