DIGITAL ART + CHARACTER DESIGN

In Digital Art & Character Design, students will explore digital art and character design using iPads and Procreate. They’ll develop a strong understanding of the Procreate program while learning digital drawing techniques, creating expressive characters, and developing their own unique artistic style. Through drawing and storytelling, students will learn how to bring their characters to life and use them to create their own visual worlds and stories.

Each student will need an ipad with the program Procreate (it’s a $13.99 lifetime membership) to use throughout the session

Instructor: Tomo 

Tomo is an illustrator and graphic designer with a degree in Graphic design and communications, and over a decade of professional experience doing everything from commissioned character design to furniture magazine layouts. From children's books to action/adventure stories, monsters to nature, she's drawn it all, but her favorite illustrations are romantic! Cancellation Policy:  If you register for a session and can't attend, please inform us 72 hours prior; we'll refund you, less a $20 security deposit. Regrettably, if we're not notified, no refund can be issued. Our staff and instructors carefully prepare for each spot in our classes. Funds from no-shows will be allocated to the many scholarships and donations we give throughout the year.

Make-up classes  may be made on Saturdays within the same session, unless otherwise approved.  Sign up for make ups on our class calendar and select "class makeup"

All classes are organized, supervised, and equipped to allow dropping-off of students, unless otherwise noted.  Our liability must be signed prior to class and can be found here.
