DROP IN | CRAFTYPRENEURS | 8-14 years

Calling all young makers, artists, inventors, and future business owners! In this hands-on class, kids will not only create amazing crafts—they’ll also learn how to turn their creations into a mini business.

Each week, students will:

• Design and make a variety of unique, handmade crafts

• Learn the basics of branding, pricing, and selling

• Create a simple "business plan" for their craft idea

• Practice real-world skills like presentation, planning, and teamwork

Kids will have an opportunity to sell their wares at our annual Hollyday artist market and showcase their handmade creations to family and friends in our community!

Perfect for creative kids who love making things and are curious about how they can share their talent with the world—and maybe earn a little pocket money, too.

Kristen Bach ~ Kristen is the founder and creative chaos creator at TREEHOUSE.  She has been teaching for 20+ years and it's her life goal to create quality classes and a space for art kids.  She has professionally taught art in the public schools, ACC jail, and Georgia Museum of Art, and more!  When she is not creating messes and running a small business you can find her hanging out with her family, making art, or tap dancing.  

Shaunia Grant ~  Shaunia is a local artist and educator who received their MFA from UGA.  When they are not at TREEHOUSE teaching you can find them teaching other places around town like Lyndon House and making work in their own studio.  Everyone is a big Shaunia fan and she loves teaching kids!

Cancellation Policy:  If you register for a session and can't attend, please inform us 72 hours prior; we'll refund you, less a $20 security deposit. Regrettably, if we're not notified, no refund can be issued. Our staff and instructors carefully prepare for each spot in our classes. Funds from no-shows will be allocated to the many scholarships and donations we give throughout the year.

Make-up classes  may be made on Saturdays within the same session, unless otherwise approved.  Sign up for make ups on our class calendar and select "class makeup"

Safety Policy + Drop Off Waiver:
All classes are organized, supervised, and equipped to allow dropping-off of students, unless otherwise noted.  Our liability must be signed prior to class and can be found here.
