Description

While this is intended to be an ongoing class, if you are interested in trying out the class for a day, are visiting from out of town, or want to pay week by week we have opened up for drop ins! Please note that the drop in rate is slightly higher that the session based classes. If you have a punchcard you can use it here!

This is a first introduction to Art, textures, play, and inspiring messes! Over the years we have been many sprouts first to so many beautiful experiences and introduction to the world of art!

This class is a mix of song, books, and age appropriate art and sensory activities. We know that babies wiggle so we have lots of opportunities to play and switch gears as needed.

Through hands-on sensory experiences like finger painting, stamping, squishing, and smudging, little ones begin to develop:

Fine motor skills
Curiosity and creativity
Sensory awareness
Early social interaction

Each session includes open-ended art activities tailored to your child's developmental stage, with an emphasis on process over product—so there's no pressure to create a “perfect” piece. Grown-ups stay and play too, making this a wonderful opportunity for connection and bonding.

Dress for mess, and get ready for smiles, giggles, and lots of color! We do have aprons too!

Instructor: Molly Emerson Pratt ~ Molly is our beloved baby and toddler instructor. Molly has two amazingly creative kiddos and brings the magic to all kids who she sees. She has been teaching with us for a few years now and is loved by all of the kiddos and parents alike. When she is not mama Molly or teaching at TREEHOUSE, she is likely in her at home fiber studio creating her fabulous waldorf inspired needle felted goods.

August 18-Oct 17 :: 9 weeks

Oct 20-Dec 19 :: 8 weeks no class thanksgiving week

Jan 12-march 13 :: 9 weeks No class Spring Break

March 16 -May 22

~If you are joining mid-session, sign up and we will prorate you for your missed classes

Cancellation Policy: If you register for a session and can't attend, please inform us 72 hours prior; we'll refund you, less a $20 security deposit. Regrettably, if we're not notified, no refund can be issued. Our staff and instructors carefully prepare for each spot in our classes. Funds from no-shows will be allocated to the many scholarships and donations we give throughout the year.

Make-up classes may be made on Saturdays within the same session, unless otherwise approved. Sign up for make ups on our class calendar and select "class makeup"

Safety Policy + Drop Off Waiver:
All classes are organized, supervised, and equipped to allow dropping-off of students, unless otherwise noted. Our liability must be signed prior to class and can be found here.
