make it in metal : intro to metalsmithing

**Please note: Because students will be working with real metalsmithing tools and materials to create their own finished jewelry and metal pieces, the materials cost is included in the overall camp fee.  This is a really amazing opportunity for our students!

This camp introduces teens to the fundamentals of metalsmithing through hands-on, studio-based practice. Students will work with real tools and materials—including saws, metal, casting techniques, using real metal and more—to design and create their own jewelry or small metal objects. Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship, safety, problem-solving, and creative expression as students gain confidence working in a metal studio environment.

Cancellation Policy: If you sign up for a camp and can no longer attend, please call or email us to let us know.  Cancellations made within 14 days before the start of camp will be allowed a refund less a $20 admin fee.  Camps cancelled less than 14 days prior to the start of camp can not be refunded. We apologize but we put a lot of energy into materials and preparation.  These fees will be put towards the many scholarships and donations that we give throughout the year.
