ADULT MAKERS : ALTERED BOOKS

Instructor:  Jane Pineau (AKA ART QUEEN)

Jane has taught art in the public schools for over 30 years and now works for UGA in the Art Education Department.  Jane is a TREEHOUSE groupie and hands down queen (and doctor) of ART!  Her crafty magic is felt by everyone and I wouldn’t be surprised if her tears are made of glitter!  It is an absolute dream to have her in our classroom!

People have been begging us to do adult classes…..and here they are!  These classes are for all abilities and consider this a safe place to make art and do extra fun projects that you have never done before or you are a master.  We are here for JOY!

We are starting with a 3 part series of Altered books.  You can sign up for 1 or all 3, you probably will want to do all 3!  

Each class we will introduce a new technique or concept in creative journaling.  We will fill the table with the best art supplies and craft away!  

Jane is going to introduce her method of creating Altered books (creative journal) from old + retired books..  We will engage in collage, drawing, doodling, making doors, pockets, dolls, popup fun, and more.  We will explore a variety of awesome materials and have a blast!  I guarantee that you will never think of creative journaling the same!
