I have said on multiple occasions, how fortunate we are to be part of such a creative community! When it was time to change our gift certificates, I intantly thought of Smokey Road Press! Local artist and friend, Margot Ecke, has brought back a form of letterpress printing unlike anything else in Athens and every time I step into the shop, I am instantly inspired. From the charming industrial look of the shop, to the smell of the paper and ink…it is truly a magical place! The antique press is so calming with the fluid movements and watching Margot during the process is such a joy…she truly is a pro! The template… The color palate… Getting ready to roll… The final product… We love our new gift certificates, thank you so much Margot and Smokey Road Press!!
