“I love you more than all of the puppies and kittens in the world” My daughter and I have this thing that we do whenever she goes to bed or gets dropped off at school. We say, “I love you more than all of the ________ in the world”. We decided to make some valentines stamped with this saying. It’s been fun to choose something different for each one of our pals. Materials Needed: watercolor paper, ruler, pencil, scissors, x-acto knife, or a paper cutter, cutting mat (if using an x-acto knife), cups, gouache paint, spoon or stick for stirring,, and a lettering stamp (we got ours here) Step 1: measure out cards, we made ours 5.5 inches by 4 inches Step 2: cut out cards Step 3: create your stamp, our stamp says, “I love you more than all of the __________ in the world” Step 4: prepare the dye, we mixed a few drops of gouache with about 1/2 cup of water Step 5: dip the card into the dye Step 6: hang dry, once the card is dry, you can iron it to flatten the curves if there are any Step 7: stamp your phrase onto the card Step 8: fill in the blank Step 9: give your card to your pals
